Experience the Mountains:
A Waterfall Journey
|
The Friends of the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library is hosting a unique concert experience by musician Bryan Heller. Experience the Mountains: A Waterfall Journey is a program of live music and a breathtaking video, composed, performed and filmed by Bryan Heller. The audience will experience the beautiful waterfalls throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, as the piano sets the mood and takes the audience on a soaring journey.
Bryan Heller is a professional concert pianist and instructor who lives in Cashiers, North Carolina. Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, he received music education from the Alexander Dreyfoos Jr. School of the Arts, and Western Carolina University where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree. Bryan is active in this region as the Director of Music for Cashiers United Methodist Church, and accompanist for both the Cashiers Community Chorus and the Highlands Community Chorus. His PianoMountain studio currently educates music students from 5 to 85. He is an established performer for weddings and private concerts. One of his greatest moments has been performing at Carnegie Hall accompanying the Smoky Mountain High School Concert Choir.
A Waterfall Journey is the second part of Bryan’s Experience the Mountains series. The first part premiered last August, and he plans to debut the next part, The Four Seasons, in August, 2023. He hopes to present a new program annually.
“We invite our residents and visitors to experience our exceptional community library and to experience Bryan’s artistic vision," says Friends’ concert chair Connie Dyleski. “We are presenting this event as a gift to the community.”
The show will be held at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library, 249 Frank Allen Road, Cashiers, NC. There is no charge for admission. Call 828-743-0215 to reserve seats. Space is limited.
