Support by individuals, families and businesses helps make our community library a gem of Western North Carolina. Volunteers at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library help keep the library running. The Friends of the Library Bookstore is completely run by volunteers, as well as many events throughout the year. Volunteers -
shelve books
reorder books
repair books
process new books when they are delivered
help sort and separate library materials that need to be reorganized or moved
so much more
It is a fun opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the company of people within the community while helping a good cause.
