Support by individuals, families and businesses helps make our community library a gem of Western North Carolina. Volunteers at the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library help keep the library running. The Friends of the Library Bookstore is completely run by volunteers, as well as many events throughout the year.
Volunteers -
  • shelve books
  • reorder books
  • repair books
  • process new books when they are delivered
  • help sort and separate library materials that need to be reorganized or moved
  • so much more
It is a fun opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the company of people within the community while helping a good cause.

If you wish to volunteer, please provide the following information and someone from the Friends of the Library will contact you with more information.
